Hi,
I am having something here I can't figure out....
We are using digital signature lines in an Excel 2013 document; here's the scenario:
There is a signature line in an excel document, a user digitally sign the signature line in that document (using in this case an Entrust issued certificate, but that doesn't really matter...) then close the document.
Now if I open the document I can see his valid digital signature and all details about his signature, if I click on any other field than the signature line and use the zoom slider (lower-right corner of the application) or the Ctrl+mouse wheel to zoom in the document everything is just fine but if I set focus on the signed signature line and zoom again (using any of the two methods above) it automatically invalidate the signature and shows the red "invalid signature" message, sure if I don't save the document and reopen it the signature will still be valid; however this "Invalid Signature" message creates unnecessary questions and sometime even panic (thinking they just screwed up the signatures applied...) from our end-users...And if somebody decided to save the document after a zoom ignoring the messages, the signature(s) would be saved as invalid and the signer would have to resign the document...
Is this normal behavior? Why is this happening, what's triggering the document modification with a simple zoom? It seems to happen only in Excel, I tried the same thing in Word and could not replicate it.
Thanks
