I hope all is well, having an odd issue I thought I had resolved.
an excel file on a terminal server, it is set as a shared workbook between 5-6 users.
initial problem the file was doubling in size daily from 22mb to 44mb then 68mb etc. Causing the file to open slowly and crash excel
after realizing the issue was being saved as a excel 97 file. I saved the file as excel 2010 workbook and the size dropped to 4.8 mb.
Now the file is sitting at 21mb still a excel 2010 workbook now the issue of the file opening slowly or timing out and crashing excel is occurring again. I have ran a repair on the file via excel and issues still persist.
