I have a spreadsheet that uses 3 sets of auto-generated raw reports from an Isilon server.
The Isilon puts all of the reports in the same folder and I just need to update the sheet with the newest one.
I'm assuming I will have to use a VB macro in order to accomplish the function of Search this directory for a file whose name is like 'quota_report_', sort all results by modified date, use most recent for worksheet A in the active workbook.
My question for some of you pros out there.
A) is this possible.
B) is VB my best solution or is there some hidden thing i'm missing in excel that could make my life easier.
