Excel 2010 - Data validation list, use data in another workbook.

Hi

I have one workbook that I want to use as the source of information for other workbooks. I want to use a list in data validation in separate workbooks to look up info in the source workbook. The source will contain contact names etc.

If the contact names need to be edited then I want to be able to do it in the source workbook only.

Is this possible?
