I am running Windows 7 & Office 2010. I have a database stored in a 97-03 excell table located on a server connected to a company network. I have several 97-03 excell spread sheets with links to the database file that are located on the server
as well as my hard drive and other servers. I made the mistake (long story) of disconnecting the mapped network drive, were the database file is stored, and quickly re-mapped it. I was having an issue with the linked files not updating
correctly and noticed that the links now have UNC file paths instead of the original Mapped Network Drive Paths. Using the find replace comand I can replace the UNC file paths with the Mapped Network Drive Paths and the cells will update the correct
information. Once I save and close the file and then re-open it the links will sporaticaly reveret back to the UNC file path and no longer update information. Is there a way to fix this?
