Please advise for applicable formula that can be use to count the maximum workdays. Below is the guideline and data currently availed. Purpose of request is to optimize the schedule to bear minimum cost (OT,
transport, etc) and resource assignment/delivery of my subcontractors.
Target:: Solve for Min Work Days excluding Holidays and as per below guideline.
| Current Guideline for resource planning via excel of one Project. |
| --Construction Working Days are from Monday to Saturday ( Sunday is a Regular Non-Working day) |
| 1. if a holiday falls on friday, there is no work <with pay> on the following day (saturday). |
| 2. if a holiday falls on Sunday, there is no work <with pay> on the following day (monday). |
| 3. there is work on monday after "easter Sunday". |
| 4. there is no work <with pay> if the day is between two holidays |
| 5. there is no work <with pay> if the day is between Sunday and a holiday - eg. 29Dec2014 |
| Note: Eid’l Fitr and Eid al-Adha : 2 Muslim Holidays to be announced later and to be included in the List of holidays |
