Excel 2013: Error on OData feed

When I try to import data from oData feed  from

Data -> From Other Data sources -> From OData Data feed, I get the error

We couldn't get data from the Data Model. Heres the error message we got:

The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel. The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure.

Appreciate any suggestion to workaround the error.

More details:

oData endpoint is my devbox.

Endpoint use https: with self generated machine cert.

I had to use https://<partnername>.<machinename>/... for the oData endpoint
