sumif with function on the criteria

I have a spreadsheet with 13 monthly date columns, 7-31-2012 through 7-31-2013.  There is a "Revenue" row and there with a number for each date, e.g:

2013-06-31    2013-06-30

1,000               2,000

I want to sum up a year to date revenue number from left to right.  I thought about using the sumif function by extracting the "year" from the monthly date column, comparing it to the year from today(), and if they match then sum.  I started with the following:

=SUMIF(B10:N10,YEAR(B10)=YEAR(TODAY()),B11:N11)

I think the "B10" may not be right, but was hoping it would just move across.
