Hi Master,
We have several pivot table reports (Excel 2007) that prepared by staff A distribute to our users. The reports connect to SQL Server 2005 database using staff A's connection string defined in excel 2007 Data -> Connections. After excel prepared by staff A, we will distribute to users. But we do not want to exposed the connection string with id and pw to other users.

If we remove to save pw option in Data Connections, users will connect to database when they receive, open the excel file and refresh the spreadsheet. This will lead to staff A account locked
out due to multiple failure logon.
We do not have such problem when using excel 2003 as the connection string is hidden.
Any clue?
Thanks
