Entering Cell opens List

Is the a way in Excel that when you enter a cell it automatically opens a drop down lost rather than having to select the drop down arrow to the right as you do with Data Validation method.

The only criteria is that I have to be able to save the WorkBook as an XLSX as appose to any other Excel format extension.
