I can open my own older version Excel files but when a colleague sends me one, Excel opens but gives me the message 'The file is corrupt and cannot be opened.' Before I got Office 2010 I was able to open files sent from these colleagues with no trouble.
It happens from different colleagues employed at different businesses. I found that by using Corel I'm able to open these files but really don't want to use Corel instead of MS if I don't have to.
