Calculated Field option disabled in Excel 2013

I have managed to combine data from 2 worksheets into one worksheet using VBA. I wish to create a pivot table from the combined worksheet and use a calculated field in the pivot table. But the option is grayed out in the Analyze Group tab. I have no idea why this is so and am trying to figure out a way. The data on both the worksheets come from an Access 2013 database. The Excel spreadsheet is linked to the Access 2013 database.

Can anyone help me figure out why I cannot use the calculated field option here in my pivot table ?? All help is greatly appreaciated.

Thanks.

Maneesh

The problem with being punctual is, there's nobody there to appreciate it !!!
