I have a relatively small access database that I want to be able to query via an Excel Report that I'm building...
The user will select a parameter within Excel, this is output to an Excel cell (d_BM!$A$1) which is parameter driving a background pivot table. (This pivot table is then used to do a number of calculations and refresh a series of charts.)
There are two pivot tables which are driven by two seperate parameters
Whenever I open the spreadsheet, the cell references for the Parameter get lost... If you try to resave the file without realising this, the file corrupts and any changes are lost. If you go to edit the Connection Properties and then select Parameters, the value fields are blank, but repopulating them resolves the problem and allows you to resave the file.
How can I make the data connection retain it's cell reference parameters?
