Hi, I'm doing an excel spreadsheet. I represented text as numbers: Yes: 2, Yes with difficulty:1, No: 0, and N/A: 88 using the 'If' formula. =IF(C27="yes","2",IF(C27="yes with difficulty","1",IF(C27="no","0",

It worked fine at this point. I then created a double dependent data validation. Defined each group with a name then the corresponding name so that one answer of 'No' leads to the next drop box only showing 'N/A' which will automatically show '88' through my If formula.
Everything work great expect for one part. If you select 'Yes' for the first dropdown and 'No' for the second, my IF formula gives a 'FALSE' error. What could be wrong?
