Does Microsoft Excel 2013 (stand alone version) include PowerPivot?

I've recently discovered that the basic Office 2013 Professional suite doesn't include PowerPivot functionality, and that I needed to purchase the full Office 2013 Professional PLUS suite to get it.

What if I am buying a stand alone license of Excel 2013?  Will that include PowerPivot, or is the stand alone version of Excel 2013 also 'crippled' and doesn't include PowerPivot out of the box?
