I received an Excel File from a coworker in the company with macros. i cannot Edit the Links or Change the SOurce on the links. My coworker is able to without any issues. We tried other users with no luck. We logged into another machine as my coworker and we were able to edit the links. The Excel file is somehow tied to his user account. the origins of this file is from a third party 10 years ago in Excel 2003. We tried Excel 2010 and Excel 2013. I made sure that we both have full access to the file and its not in read only mode, i have made copies of the file to different locations as well.
Question is: How is this Excel file only editable by a single user account?
