We have a custom ERP system that makes .dz file types as output. Users open these in Excel. Users using Office 2010-2013 are unable to open the files in Excel by clicking on the attachment in Outlook or even by saving the file to the computer and selecting Excel as the default program to open this file type. The only way .dz files can be opened in Excel is to launch Excel first then open the .dz file.
We had found a registry fix back when we mainly used Office 2010 but now that we have upgraded, the registry fix is gone and I have not had any luck finding anything online about this.
Looking for any help at all!
