cannot print multiple copies from Excel and Word to network HP Laserjet1320 PCL5 printer - works fine with HP Photosmart 110

am using Office 2013 and Windows 8.1 on HP Ultrabook laptop. the HP Photosmart is connected via USB. when multiple copies are entered for the LaserJet only 1 copy is printed. didn't happen before I upgraded to Office 2013 and the Ultrabook simultaneously
