When I send messages with other programs that open Outlook's "send e-mail".
The messages do not show up in Outlook's sent items folder.
You can even try it using MS Word 2010 "send using email".
The message will not show up in outlook's sent folder.
The message will send, and the message does show up in the web based email sent folder, so my only conclusion is outlook has a little bug.
