Macro to Sort Pivot values using custom list

Here are the details ... I am trying to create a financial analysis report

I am creating 3 critical Pivots & all further analysis done there after

(Revenue, Customer profitability, Utilization )

Although there are 100's of projects ... Only 10% of the projects are significant & my supervisor wants all the pivots to be sorted by revenue (Even in those pivots where Sum of revenue is not there)

I tried adding a custom list & sorting but there are two problems to it 

1. When the XL file is copied from my local system to another, Custom lists are not carried forward & more importantly
2. Base data is bound to change & new projects will appear & the need to create new Custom List every time

Can anybody please help me to know if there is any technique or macro to sort Pivot tables with Revenue (Even when that is not added)
