I just got my first job at a media buying place in NYC, and I'm loving it! my daily tasks include entering data, creating tons and tons of spreadsheets, and interpreting data. I know, sounds boring, but I like it.
Only problem I've been having deals with Excel. I have a type of dyslexia that makes it difficult to see the white space between lines. Contrary to the norm, I have no problem following left to right- or vice versa- however it is difficult to distinguish one line from the next because of it's vertical proximity.
For example when I read, I often re-read the line I just finished because I lose my spot when I shift my eyes.
I was wondering if anyone knew of cursor features on excel that follows my cursor using dotted lines- sort of an X,Y coordinate feature- from the top and side tab. It'd make my life a whole lot easier especially if the dotted lines are a different color from the background.
Any input would be great. I'm sure there's a feature, I just cant find it.
Greatly Appreciated,
