I have Windows 8.1 running on a Toshiba L-855 laptop, 4 gb main, 750 gb hdd. I reloaded MS Office 2013 after running a full rebuild from Toshiba's recovery disk. Now In Word and Excel when I click on a secondary window like "Format Cells"
it took 20 seconds and during that time it tells me that Excel is not responding. Then it comes up and works fine. All subsequent calls to that same option work faster after the initial one. My MS Word has similar issues. These are very simple
sheets with no coding behind them. Also when I move across the sheet to another cell, you can see the highlight area around the box actually move from one place to another. I have Norton and Malwarebytes for security and I run Hitman every once in a
while.
