Can not insert excel 2013 as an object into excel 2013

Hi

I do not know if someone encounter this excel 2013 case, when I open an new excel 2013, and try to insert another excel 2013 as an object  [ click on Insert -> Object -> Create from file [Select the network path & file] and select Display as Icon. ], after clicking OK, excel will be freezed and stop working. I tried to quick repair,but it did not help,could you help me ? thanks in advance :)
