I have a selection of xlsx documents with links to other documents that no longer exists. The only thing i need is to see the values that are currently saved in the cells.
If i open the Document in Excel 2010, i get the question if i want to update the links or not. If i choose not to, everything works fine. I see the saved values and can check everything i want.
If i open the Document in Excel 2013, i get the same question but it doesn´t matter if i choose to update the links or not. Excel changes every single cell with the values i need to "#value!".
The frustrating thing is, before i answer the question with "yes" or "no", i see the values i need in the Background. As soon as i answer the question or close the Box with X, everything gets changed to "#value!".
I just need a way to prevent Excel from doing this, but even if i disable every kind of formula check i find in the Excel Options, it´s still turning everything to "#value!" and as soon as this happens, the value is lost.
Please consider that i´m NOT looking for a way to correkt "#value!" Errors. We are not allowed to change the documents in any way. I just want Excel to not destroy the values that are already here, as it was possible with Excel 2010.
If i find no solution to this, we have to go back to Office 2010 on many Clients. Thank you!
