Excel 2010: External Data Query

Greetings!

I've been stuck with a tricky problem for a couple of days, and finally resorted to asking the community.

The user is trying to import data from an external data source (Sage 200 Database). The problem he is having is as follows;

When selecting the "From Other Sources" option, then using the "From SQL Query" method, we are able to point the wizard to the server, then import the required table in its entirety. This works correctly, and displays all the columns within the table. However, when using the "From Microsoft Query" option, we are able to connect to the database, but it doesn't display all the columns. I have ensured it is the correct database, using the same credentials, using the same table. Of two other machines in the office, one works. I have compared the version numbers of all applicable software, and it's all exactly the same, including the installed Windows Updates. I have also reinstalled the ODBC drivers and Office software.

Many Thanks

Ben
