I'm getting below error message while opening Excel 2k7 files after installing Office 2k7 on my PC. Earlier I was having Office 2k3 and i was unable to open newer version of files. Below is the error message.
Error message: “The file you are trying to open, ‘xxxxxx.xls’, is in a different format than specified by the file extension. Verify that the file is not corrupted and is from a trusted source before opening the file. Do you want to open the file now?”
