Type of Office : Excel 2013
Problem Statement: The work I did last was not saved and the file that I opened this morning was the file that I did before that. I lost a total of 6 sheets in a workbook. The properties recorded that the file was last saved on 9th June 2014, 5:45pm but the one it open was before that. There is a message saying that the file fail to upload to server, and I should chose either to open the laptop version or the server version. And when i chose server, it asked if I am sure to lose all latest info and then I had to cancel and chose the laptop version, which still is not the latest version. In the version track, it says, no previous version.
I have a one drive account and I have never faced any of this problem with previous version of Office. Please help me to identify root cause and prevention so I would not repeat this waste of time and energy issue. Please also advice on how to retrieve my latest file.
