We have multiple users in our Excel workbooks, however only one user has permissions to make changes while the rest are read only. When the one user makes changes, Excel throws a message that the changes can't be saved while the book is open in other areas. How can we get around this? We didn't have this issue until we upgraded to Office 2013. Some of the other users are still using an older Office version.
We are running this file on our network drive and it is shared with other users.
