I need help. I have a complex task that has been assigned to me. I can make it work in parts, but when I put it all together, it doesn't work correctly. Here are the three things I need to do:
1. Find out if the birth date is between Date A and DateA - 2 years. If yes, the result should be DateA-2 years. I can stop at this point if this is true. If it's false, I need to continue.
2. Is the birth date between DateA-2 years and DateA-5 years? If yes, the result should be the birth date. If true, I can stop. If false, continue.
3. Is the birth date beyond the Date- 5 years? If so, the result is Date A - 5 years.
Maybe I'm processing the if statements in the wrong order? I should mention I'm using Excel 2007 for this.
