Excel 2010 slow open

Hi!

I have been trying to figure out why one of my office clients (PC1) in network is opening particular excel files very slowly.

The PC has English Windows 7 Pro x64 OEM  and Croatian Office 2010 Home and Business x64 Retail (I also tried x32), 6Gb of RAM and 90Gb SSD hard drive.

To make things clear my other two office clients (PC2 and PC3) in network have: English Windows 7 Pro x64 OEM  and English Office 2010 Home and Business x32 Retail, 6Gb of RAM and 90Gb SSD hard drive.

When PC2 or PC2 tries to open particular excel file, timing for opening file is no more than 30 seconds.

But when PC1 tries to open particular excel file it takes about 1 minute and 30 seconds...

Having eliminated network as problem (tried opening file from local hard drive), and antivirus software, and user profile, and Add-ons I have stumbled on various post about "excel slow opening files".

I have found that stopping spooler service helps significally in that it takes around 10 seconds to open particular excel file from local hard drive.

Desperate to find cause of problems I ran Sysinternals Procmon and found that when spooler service is running Excel reads each and every font in Fonts folder. However when spooler is disabled it reads only few.

As some suggested I tried installing never drivers for printers but I already had latest drivers. I also had same drivers and printers installed on PC1, PC2 and PC3. So my guess is that it is not printer related problem.

Does anyone have any idea what is happening?
I'm guessing that it has something to do with localized version of Excel.

Thanks for helping!
