Problem with formulas from New Zealand on Austrian PC because of semicolon and comma

Our headoffice in New Zealand provides Excel 2010 spreadsheets. These contain formulas where the comma is used as separator, instead of the semicolon used in Austria. Therefore these formulas are not recognized as formulas by the austrian PC and displayed as plain text in the cells.
However a second PC in Austria seeming to have same settings does accept these formulas and the spreadsheet can be used.
Both PCs use Windows 7 latest release and Office 2010.
What parameters need to be changed in order to get the New Zealand spreadsheet work on the Austrian PC?
