Conditional Formatting - Trying to highlight alternating rows while also automatically highlighting certain texts when entered into a cell

I am trying to highlight alternating rows with conditional formatting. I am trying to keep the highlighted alternating row look after deleting rows, while also using two other conditional formatting rules to highlight cells when I input the text "x" with one color, and highlight cells when I input a number (value - nothing specific, any number) with another color. If I use "insert table" and convert the table to range, the rows do not keep their highlighted alternating row look after I delete certain rows. BUT I am able to get rules to work for highlighting the cells with "x" and highlighting the cells with a number.

I have been using the conditional formatting formula =MOD(ROW(),2) to highlight alternating rows while also keeping that look when I delete rows. BUT if I try to add conditional formatting to highlight cells containing a specific text, "x", then it only works for the odd rows or every other row. And I can't find any conditional formatting to highlight cells with a number when using the =MOD(ROW(),2). Is there a way to fix/do this correctly?
