ComboBox DropDown List Highlight

Hi,

This is Excel 2010 with an ActiveX combobox on a worksheet.  The combobox gets its drop-down values from a table containing 52 rows holding dates for each week in a calendar year.  The combobox is set to display 26 rows.

When I click on the dropdown arrow, I would like the current week of the year to become highlighted.  Now, when I open the box, none of the entires are highlighted, but the first date on the list does have a dotted border around it.  Ideally the highlighted entry would appear down the list showing some weeks above and some below the highlighted week.  But I would settle for the highlighted entry being at the top of the list (with earlier dates being scrolled up and out of view).  And if there is no way to highlight an entry, can I change which entry gets the dotted border?

Note that I am NOT referring to changing the default VALUE of the combobox, just the default entry on the drop-down list.

Is there any way to control this aspect of the combobox?

Thanks,

Peter.
