I have created a hyperlink as follows: ..\..\..\..\..\Pat_Archive\003\A_thru_A.htm#AAS933354
When it is clicked, the file opens properly but the address is missing the #AAS933354 completely and the page stays at the top of the htm file.
I have set up the anchors properly because if I just copy and past the link into the browser address it positions perfectly.
I have tried this with IE 8, Firefox 4 and Chrome as the default browser. None of them position properly when linked from the excel hyperlink but all of them do when the hyperlink is placed directly in the address line.
How can I make excel position to the anchor/bookmark properly?
