Hi,
We are currently moving towards Windows 7 64bit machines with office 2007. When we open any .xls files from an IE8 link - the prompt comes up to open or save.
If we click on "save" and navigate to a network folder and save the file - the progress bar goes through and acts like it saves with no error messages. When we access the network folder - file did not save.
However, if we click on "Open" and from within excel perform "Save As" - it actually saves it into the network folder.
Troubleshooting steps taken so far:
Uninstalled/reinstalled both IE8 and Office
Added the network folder locations to trusted center.
This is happening across the whole user base.
I have not run across this before, any suggestions will be really helpful!
