Running: Windows 7, Office 2010 Pro Plus, standalone machine (connected to Internet only)
Steps: Open worksheet with multiple sheets included; select one of the sheets in the file; click on File/Print; change the paper size to Legal; click on Change Scaling; when attempting to change the scale, the screen fades to white and a pop-up window appears informing me that Microsoft Excel has stopped working and will check for a solution to the problem. Excel then either attempts a restart or sits there waiting for me to close the program and begin again. Anything not previously saved is lost.
This happens time after time after time. I can shutdown and restart the machine, open Excel, and the same thing will happen again. I've made sure I've saved the file with the latest file extensions (not Office 2007 nor Office 97-2003).
Any ideas?
Saving the file as a different file name (old name contained a hyphen; new name removes hyphen and replaces it with an underscore) has no effect.
If I save the file as an Excel 97-2003 file, I can manipulate all I want and print the spreadsheet. I shouldn't have to do this for every file.
