So the company I work at uses a antiquated program to produce a report based off of these fields:
Bank name | Dollar Amount | Title Company
The program is simple and functions with a data entry window where you input said information, press ENTER and then it applies that data to the month/year and allows you to continue entering data.
From said data we can generate a report that shows a list of how many dollar amount entries there are for each bank and which banks used which title companies.
We want to upgrade to a more modern (future proof) piece of software and haven't had much luck finding what we need. Excell seems to be the best option, but there doesn't seem to be a method for data entry which works as flawlessly as this older software does.
Is there a function for a data entry window with excell? Is there a way to customize the fields in that input window? We don't really have anyone that is excell savvy in the office but we are capable of learning the formulas for what we need. Its more finding a rapid way to insert data into our workbook which seems to be the snare.
Any help on this would be much appreciated.
