PowerPivot change to existing query/connection results in error

I have a 2010 workbook that I have queried an oracle database using PowerPivot. On initial creation, everything works fine. When I go back in to edit my query, I get the following error:

OLE DB or ODBC error: ORA-01005: null password given; logon denied.

A connection could not be made to the data source with the DataSourceID of 'dcffe5bd-f9a1-4ca6-82b0-0f5bea86bd47', Name of 'Oracle dwp'.

An error occurred while processing table 'Trade Sales'.

The current operation was cancelled because another operation in the transaction failed.

Note: When I click on design and run the query it runs fine. When I refresh all the data using this particular connection via the existing connections dialog, all refresh without issue. Really weird behavior. I believe it is validating the credentials just to allow me to edit so I don't understand why it loses the password when I edit the query (or actually when I don't even change the query but hit save, it throws the same error). Help please!
