We are using Prodiance software for client side as well as server side to make excel files (UDT) Prodiance Policy compliant.
However we have found some discrepancy between the client side and server side check for broken link in respective .Net(c#) code module of Policy Check.
Broken link error concept (Client & Server):The Prodiance server software will check whether the linked
files are present or not on the specified path as per the main UDT. If linked files are not present, then theserver software will throw an alert as broken link error. Otherwise it will not throw any error.
Recently we observed that, some of the excel files are getting server side broken link error even if the linked files are present on the specified path. For the same files, we are not getting broken link errors on
client side policy check.
Query:
- Is there any specific format to be introduced in server side .Net (c#) code for linked files, which are being allowed when linking with main excel files, in server side?
- Can you please let us know if any other users who also have reported such type of issue from Prodiance?
