help with a formula for matches

Can anyone assist with a formula please;

I have columns A, B and C populated with 5000 rows of numbers (0-49),

so for example this first row A2 is "22", B2 is "5", C2 is "30"

In cell D1 I have a string of text, delimted by a comma, i.e. 1, 3, 9, 12, 22, 28, 35

What I need is for cell D2 to list a sum of matches between any number in A2, B2 or C2 that are also numbers in the string in D1.

So in my example the result in D2 would be 1 - as there is one match of the numbers in A2-C2 also included in the string within D1. If there were no matches it would return 0, 2 matches 2, 3 matches 3, etc.

Any help what formula to add to D2 to get such a match? Can this be done?
