Excel 2013 - SUMIF with shaded cells

Hi

Is it possible to count the values in cells if they are a specific colour? In a column there could but up to 7 colours used to apply shading - a different colour for each department. In these cells there is a number. I want to count all the values in the green cells to get a total for that department, the same with the blue one etc.

I have it in my head SUMIF would be used but I don't know if it's possible to SUMIF the cell is a particular colour.
