I am loosing my mind here. Everything used to work fine. Then I started to archive emails and somehow corrupted my default PST data file. I have 4 email accounts. My gmail and Hotmail accounts work fine in outlook. However my two work email accounts have this issue. Both are from the same email hosting company. When I log-in in the morning the emails all come in as if read. So I thought it was a setting in my webmail account but I looked and it really doesn't have many settings to set. I then started trouble shooting I noticed it has to do with switching from one email account to another. When I leave to check email in another account then come back all my unread emails turn to read. However in the webmail account it still shows it as unread. I turned off email preview, reading panes, etc. Unchecked all the options under reading pane options. I have turned off most all of my add-ins, made sure there are no active rules, etc. I am at a complete loss. I get so many emails I can't read them all during the day so I often go through my unread emails in the evening and only read the important stuff during the day. Now I have no idea what hasn't been read yet. I am literally loosing my mind.
